Was ist eure Meinung dazu?

    Jennifer Simpson

    Ending A
After finding out that Edward (who turns out to be Dan from the previous game who rose from the ashes of his previous form) was Scissorman, she draws him into the vortex created by the Door Spell. She and Nolan are then trapped in the wreckage of the manor after it collapses. After a small conversation and a kiss, they are rescued by Helen.

    Ending B
Just like in Ending A, Jennifer opens the vortex with the Door Spell and Edward is pulled in. However, unable to get out of his grasp, she is pulled into the vortex as well. The FMV that follows shows Helen and Nolan visiting her grave.

    Ending C
Jennifer finds Scissorman in the cavern and almost recognizes him when he calls her name. Before she can have the chance to find out whom the murderer has been all along, however, she is stabbed and killed by Kay. The FMV that follows shows a reporter that is outside reporting the incident, stating that many corpses have been found. The rescue team behind her then announces they have a survivor, and they wheel him out with a stretcher. Edward turns out to be the survivor, and he promptly opens his eyes and smiles evilly.

    Ending D
Under the fountain in the courtyard, Jennifer finds Edward, who tells her he has found a way out. She walks past the boy to the door that's behind him, but before she could even get to it, he stabs her and his reflection is shown in a pool of her blood.

    Ending E
Jennifer is in her room writing in her diary about how the Demon Statue was never found. She then hears a familiar metallic clanging outside her window, and gasps. This ending connects with Helen's E ending.

    Helen Maxwell

    Ending A
Helen shoots and kills Scissorman before he could kill Jennifer, only to find out that he is Professor Barton. After the professor tells her why he dressed up as Scissorman, Helen informs Gotts and Jennifer of what happened. Gotts asks her if the case is closed, but Helen can tell that the real scissorman is still alive. She finds the real Scissorman (who is really Edward) under the fountain and kills him using the Door Spell. She then helps Jennifer out of the Barrows Mansion wreckage.

    Ending B
This ending is similar to Jennifer's B ending. After the vortex is opened, Scissorman is pulled in, but he manages to pull in Helen as well. The FMV after it shows the reporter from Jennifer's C ending covering the incident. It then pans to a familiar pair of scissors laying on top of the rubble and Scissorman's hand rising from the wreckage.

    Ending C
This ending is similar to Jennifer's D ending. After going under the fountain, Helen finds Professor Barton. He tells her that he has found something behind him that helps solve the case, but after Helen walks past him, he stabs her in the back. The FMV that follows shows Gotts visiting her grave.

    Ending D
Helen shoots and kills Scissorman before he could kill Jennifer, only to find out that he is Professor Barton. After the professor tells her why he dressed up as Scissorman, Helen informs Gotts and Jennifer of what happened. They conclude that Professor Barton was the real Scissorman this whole time, and the game ends.

    Ending E
Helen comes in to check on Jennifer before she goes to bed, only to find the girl with a small pair of scissors lodged in her back. She then runs to Jennifer, not noticing Scissorman hiding behind the door. The screen then fades. This ending connects with Jennifer's E ending.

Corroder is the second boss encountered in the game; he is seen blinding an elderly woman and her adult son before throwing them both alive in a drum of acid in 1963. Corroder's real name, John Haigh, as well as his modus operandi of killing his victims, is inspired by the real John Haigh, who was known in Britain as the Acid Bath Murderer.

In diesen Thread kommen alle Fragen an Herrn Hifumi Kouno.

Mr. Hifumi Kouno, the Clock Tower game series you developed when you were employed at Human Entertainment is quite amazing and innovative. I appreciate you and the Clock Tower team's efforts in making such an enjoyable and scary video game series. Sorry to have bothered you Mr. Kouno, but there have been a few questions I have about the Clock Tower series:

    1. What did you think about the new plot and game elements added to Clock Tower 3? Do they fit the Clock Tower series you developed at Human? Can the new plot fit with the Burroughs family plot in Clock Tower: The First Fear and Clock Tower 2 for Playstation? Were you involved with Sunsoft's development on Clock Tower 3 in any way?

    2. A new bedroom and a zombie enemy (can be killed with a knife) were added to the Playstation remake of Clock Tower: The First Fear. Besides the unused knife item, are there any programmed remains of these features in the original version? What are the meanings of this extra bedroom and zombie to the plot? Is the zombie another orphan lured into Mary and Simon Burroughs' mansion?

    3. Why did you make a new plot for Clock Tower: Ghosthead instead of keeping with the Burroughs family plot formed in the past two games? I have read that you are going to make a sequel for the Clock Tower series; will it use a new plotline like Ghosthead did or use the Scissorman plotline? What system(s) will it be for?

    4. When the Clock Tower team first developed Bobby Burroughs as Scissorman, what were inspirations for his scissors?

    5. In Barton's prologue in Clock Tower 2, it is mentioned that there were more than 10 victims killed at Mary and Simon Burroughs' Clock Tower mansion. In the game, a website about your series could only find 9 possible victims: Rolla Harrington, Anne, Lotte, Dr. Walter Simpson, Bobby Burroughs, Mary Burroughs, Simon Burroughs, Dan Burroughs, and the zombie in the trophy room. Who would the other victims be? Were the human organs in the trophy room used to determine other victims?

    6. Whose hand rises up in Helen's Ending B in Clock Tower 2? Could it be Barton, Edward, or somebody else?

    7. How did Dan became larger until the events of Clock Tower: The First Fear? Were other orphans lured into the mansion to be eaten by Dan?

    8. What happened to Jennifer Simpson's mother? Did she die before or after Walter's death?

    9. Why was Simon kept in the courtyard shed jail in Clock Tower: The First Fear? Why did Mary let him live?

    10. In Jennifer's Ending C in Clock Tower 2, why did Kay decide to assist Edward in his killings?

I am sorry I cannot read or write Japanese, so could you reply in English, if you can? Thank you, I would greatly appreciate a reply.

    Reply:
Thank you for contacting the company information department.
I am the director of Clock Tower 1 and 2, Hifumi Kouno.

Looking at the mail we received from you, and the questions that only a
great enthusiast could ask, I was very happy. I will try to answer your
questions as best as I can remember.

    A1.
I was not involved in Clock Tower 3 at all. So whether it is good or bad, I
shouldn't judge. However, it is true that there are differences in it and
what I have pictured for Clock Tower. Besides I think what makes Clock Tower
special is that the main character is just an ordinary girl with no special
powers to fight. Also, I admit that the newly assigned Burrows family set in
3 is different than that which I had envisioned.

    A2.
The newly added bedroom and zombies in The First Fear are probably remaining
elements that weren't included in the original version.

    A3.
Regarding Ghost Head, don't ask me. When I was working at Human
Corporation, another co-worker was appointed as the director. He respected
me as the creator of the Clock Tower Series, and left out the story about
the Burrows family and tried to select a different new story instead. I
really appreciate the attitude he showed to me as a fellow creator.

Regarding the new production currently being designed, I cannot give you any
details at this stage. However, as for the system, it is even more
concentrated than the systems of Clock Tower 1 and 2, and will include being
    chased by more terrors.

    A4.
The idea of Scissorman's blades comes from watching the movie "The
Burning" when I was a child. The scary backlit silhouette of a murderous
demon, with his garden shears, sent shivers down my spine.

    A5.
Before Mary lured Jennifer and her friends into the mansion, she had been
giving a sacrifice (toy) to her boys in the same manner. According to the
police search, there are thought to be many undiscovered victims other than
those in the stuffed body room, numbering not in the tens but many times
    that amount. (refer to A7)

    A6.
The hand that comes up at the end. who do you think it is? ?The name
floating around in your mind right now, yes, that's right.

    A7.
The bodies of the two brothers were deformed so they could not naturally
live on earth. By stopping time, they could successfully escape death.
However, as a result, it means that they cannot get away from the reach of
power from the other world (in other words the Burrows mansion) and it is
that restriction that Dan tries to escape from. Thus, Dan created a
"cocoon" with human flesh and blood, and transforms into a perfect body
inside it. Of course to compose such a huge frame, it goes without saying
that it is the flesh and blood of many victims.

    A8.
After her father's disappearance, Jennifer's mother becomes involved with
another man and dumps Jennifer and forsakes her. Yes, Jennifer is "just"
    dumped by her mother. .

    A9.
After the birth of her brother, Mary becomes inordinately engrossed mentally
in suspicious black magic. Simon anxiously watches Mary, and decides to
murder her at the point when Mary along with her brother plans to commit
murder for sacrifices for the black magic ritual. However Mary becomes
enraged, and launches a counter attack, imprisoning Simon. Mary, is
determined to keep him imprisoned rather that instantly killing him, so she
can enjoy watching him breakdown and become mentally sick. In this
hopelessness, just the continuance of life is crueler than instant death,
and shows the strength of Mary's anger.

    A10.
Kei originally had pederasty tendencies. Of course this was usually buried
deep in her psyche and never surfaced, but Edward could see that desire
using demonic powers. Using that beautiful face and demonic sense, he drew
out and fostered her desires. As a result, she becomes mentally and
physically inseparable from him, and begins to willing assist him in his
crimes. Due to the unique characteristics of this media as a consumer game,
the settings stop just at the point of hinting of this.

Since a long time has passed since their release, there are some details
that I don't clearly remember, but I have tried to answer as best as I
    could remember
It has been a very pleasant experience to be contacted by such an
enthusiastic fan from overseas. I hope to create another product that Clock
Tower fans can enjoy in the future. Thank you for supporting Nude Maker.

Hi there. I am a big fan of Clock Tower and I saw on your site that your company directed Clock Tower and Clock Tower 2. I am so surprised! Is this true?

Sorry for trouble I may cause, but I only speak english...

Mainly I am a big fan of Clock Tower 1 (Clock Tower: ~The First Fear~) and was hoping you could answer some questions for me about this game.

    1. On the box art for Clock Tower 1, there is a woman on a clock with a clock hand going through her neck. This image can be seen here. Is this lady a specific person or just box art that you guys liked? I loved this box art!

    2. In the Living Room upstairs, where Anne can be thrown out of the window, you can choose to examine a picture on the wall. This image can be seen here. My theory is that this woman is Mrs. Mary, but who really is the person in the picture?

3 Is there any backstories on Jennifer Simpson's friends, Anne, Rolla, and Lotte?

    4. This isn't really a question, but an idea. It would be really cool if there could be a remake of Clock Tower for the Nintendo DS. The stylus and touch screen could really help with the Point and Click interface!

Also, are there any plans for another installment of Clock Tower?

    Thank you so much!

    Dear Cole

    Hello.
Thank you for contacting our company.
I will try to answer your questions as best I can.

    A1.
I remember that this package did not have a specific motif. However, the
artistic setting of the "Clock Tower" series is largely influenced by
architecture from the Renaissance period, especially the architecture design
of Medici's. I think the design of the clock was influenced by that. And,
of course I love this package, too.

    A2.
I think the person in the portrait in the living room is someone in the
Barrows family from the previous generation or some generations. But it
would not be surprising if it was Mary (if so, when she was young and just
    married).

    A3.
There is no big background story about Jennifer's friends, but a general
character setting was pretty much decided. Laura and Ann consist of the
central group in the foster home and do not get along with Jennifer, who is
quiet and does not fit in with such a group. Lotte has a boyish personality,
and also does not fit in with the group, she probably gets along with
Jennifer, as outsiders. But I think Lotte who can be considered a friend
surely dies, and the possibility of Laura or Ann surviving, would fit
    "Clock Tower".

    A4.
It's a good point that you mention the affinity between Nintendo DS and
"Clock Tower". In fact, we once thought about producing something similar
for DS. The plan was put on hold for several reasons, but now we are
considering attempting to develop a horror game along the lines of "Clock
Tower". But currently I am in the middle of working on another new title,
so I can't talk about this plan until it is finished. I am so sorry, but we
will try to provide some official good news to you in the near future. We
    appreciate your continued support.
